Help 3M extra fine compound
« on: May 20, 2010, 11:34:31 am »
Hi can anybody help? I am machine polishing a BMW
with 3M extra fine compound (yellow top) and a 3M yellow pad.
The problem is that the compound Is sticking to the paint!
Could somebody shed any light on the matter? Any advice
would be appreciated
Thanks
Jim

as above.

try lightly spritzing the polishing pad with one squirt of quick detailer.

I regularly sprayed the pad with quick detailer - not much just 1 spritz, in between areas to avoid it drying out too much.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
