Would not like to be him when the boss has a 'quiet' word. Mind you at least it as not Chris Evans' new 1963 250 GTO which cost him £12m

Is a road test required after an MOT?

when i owned a 306 S16 i dropped it off at the peugeot dealership for some work, only to be over taken by it going warp 10 on a dual carriage way later that day, going straight to the dealership with smoke fuming i ask wtf was going on and they said they had to test it. When i asked if the police were aware they smashed the speed limit when test driving they went very quiet... never went back

you need to be able to trust a garage, that kid needs a damn good slap

That's quite out of order. A test drive is necessary sometimes, but not to excess. Test drive is definitely not necessary after an MOT.

Some dude in his twenties who ran out of skill real quick. He should be fired; the company's insurance will take care of the car. Incidentally, I don't think it's possible for a 3-year old Scaglietti (must be 3 years for MOT) to be worth £200k; more like £170k-odd I'd wager.

:signLOL: I don't think any 612 is gonna be as desirable as a 250 GTO!

There was a letter of the month in Evo magazine a few issues ago where a BMW mechanic had a big off in a customers M£ whilst it was in for a service.  Apparently he was making sure the oil cap was on properly when it came off the road :stupid:.  Wrote the car off mind.  :fighting:

That happened just up the road from where I live ... the Ferrari that is.  He has not crashed on a roundabout but on a slip road off it.  To have lost control and crashed where he did would take some doing

p@ss takers arent they! My boss (tricky60 - check the members rides to see his mk6 gti) had a mk2 gti new when they first came out, dropped it off for service and went out for the night in the dales and just as he went to enter a pub he saw his gti scream past...!

He got the golden treatment after that
