Well whether they like it or not they WILL replace the seat for me!

SteveP's looks almost new so if they are capable of producing a bolster that can be sat on  :surprised: I want my car to have have it!

greenhouse dealer is pushing for both seats to be replaced as said recovers look sh#te, my dealer is fully aware in the age of forums people do talk

No I wouldn't consider a recover, new seat for me!

irrespective of warranty you can quote the Sale of Goods Act with reference to durability, always worth a read and have the facts to hand should the going get tough, normally a copy highlighted for them helps

not to mention my missus is now paranoid about the size of her ar$e  :scared:

well yes, but its still fit for purpose etc, just look a bit worn, i reckon it will be a hard one, but will happily be proved wrong

The side bolster on my previous car (new MINI), the spring collapsed after 3K miles. I was told by MINI that this was general wear and tear..............LOL...after 3K miles..yes nice reply thanks!

One of many reasons why I promptly got rid of the car, in exchange for all of my money back!

Hope you get the issue sorted wigit, and get a better response than I did by MINI!
