^^^ Thats nothing. I was -1.75 when I was about 10/11 years old. Wearing contact lenses was one of the best moves I ever made, just which i had started to use them earlier.

I spent the mid to late 90's working for a high street optician eventually taking the Dispensing Opticians course (four years of mind numbing boredom) and spent the best part of two years working with the contact lens partitioner. The highest perscription encountered was -16.00 -14.50 and the guy was at the time only 25!

The highest prescription i ever glazed lenses for was -19 L&R in lovely 1.87 index Zeiss glass, i was sh*tting bricks when i cutting the glass as at something like £500 a lens retail they were not cheap!

That's a cracking price Billy  :happy2:

I was looking at the GF1 a few years ago when it launched but it was quite a lot more than that I can tell you.

Great little Retro lumix cameras with some great lenses too

Ooh, that's a big one!

Hmmm, do they offer a macro close-up lens for that Lumix camera?

Leica glass is good  :notworthy:

Not sure, but more details here on it if you're interested:

Bought this today, a Panasonic Lumix GF2. with the 14mm 'pancake' lens

On sale at dixons.co.uk for only £199.97 - over £400 on amazon.co.uk for the same kit!

I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and get the GF2 this weekend Billy  :notworthy:

(if I can get one for £199)

After a bit a kerfuffle with TNT delivering it to not only the wrong road but also the wrong number it finally came on the 18th.

Its very fast with absolutely no teething problems.

I have an iPad too for all you haters but I'd say its just as good.

Bit of a bargain as well.

And I can use Torque with a BlueTooth dongle like I did on the Galaxy S2.
