I purchased a brand new stainless steel Rolex Daytona (black face) a month ago but not really wanting to make a big deal of it with piccies, you all know what they look like

I am still pinching myself that I actually own one. I cannot stop looking at it

I may find the time to work out how to upload a piccie but the work laptop is pretty tied down and not sure how to go about doing it via the iPad

Glad you got one in the end.

Its ridiculous that Goldsmiths have a 6 year waiting list but I guess it makes the watch that extra little bit special.
The Daytona was my Holly Grail but I opted for the White face as I also have a Speedmaster which is Black.

First thing that I noticed with the Daytona was its small size, but Im used to it now

I actually really like the fact it is only 41mm's so as not to look too big on my wrist

I have an old white face Tag and just really like the black face

Should be the end of the big purchases for a while as my wife also has a ladies Rolex so we are both sorted for life whether she likes it or not

Not as exciting as a fancy watch, but was pretty chuffed when this fell through my letterbox on Saturday morning.



Along with my tickets to their Summer Solstice gig in 2 weeks lm a happy boy!
