GFB DV+. Let's see if I like the way it works.

I'm just going to fit it when I relocate the DV to the front of the engine, like the RHD BYD and CDL engines have.

I already have most of the parts needed since I have an engine with a K04 turbo. I have no idea why VW decided to fit the DV at the right side of the engine and keep the noise pipe in the LHD BYD engines. At least the later CDL engine has the DV in the easier location.

Bought a MK7 GTI a couple of weeks ago. Last owner did 8600 miles in 2 years and it had a good spec. I was considering the mk6 Golf R and S3, but wanted something newer which last 10 years plus. Wanted the mk7 Golf R, but way out of my budget.

The only thing that will be catching is the leftovers of the over spill you're going to make all over your driveway  :signLOL: I've got a similar one and they make an awful lot of mess as used only once in 16years as a result of the mess it creates  :signLOL:

Ive yet to see one that is well designed.

Something like this is needed...

http://www.opieoils.co.uk/pv-98096-15-litre-oil-drip-tray-single.aspx?gclid=CLD_6J38u8wCFWMq0wodTV0MDQ

then transfer it to the oil/pan storage thing.
