It's a hefty chunk of change, but from talking to folk who have them, it should be worth it.  :pomppomp:

The roads round here where i live are absolutely shocking (i know everyone says that, but you have to see it to believe it). The PSS10 will be coming off, great setup, but a bit too much for here, especially with the amount of suspension mods i have. The Bilsteins were perfect at one point, but i just kept going with new mods and firmed it up just that bit too much.

What did those ohlins set you back?

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/competition-suspension-kits/car/volkswagen/golf-mk5-gti/ohlins-road-and-track-performance-suspension-kit

My memory is a bit hazy from 2013..but that's quite a good price. Relative term I know.
That said 4x years on I wouldn't be without my Ohlins R&T damping..but it is a lump of wedge.

That isn't too bad to be honest.  Not when you consider KW V3s are £1500-£1600, and Ohlins are way better.

Are they not adjustable damper body height on yours?  Some of the R&T kits allow you to adjust the height without changing the spring height/preload.  The zoom in pic on Demon's website is wrong

@rich83 would you mind dropping me details where you sourced these from and cost? Next on my shopping list, can't get through to Alex for a price  :sad1:

Rotors are 413+vat for the pair. (I had the bells already, but if you dont then the rotors and bells are about 900quid)
Pads were 316+ for a set

Pads nearly as much as rotors?!!  There certainly are some spendy toys for these cars out there.

Alex supplied me with bolts to suit the 362 AP disc when I got the GT senior kit from him, would this be all that's needed?

Yes I think so. New bolts are a good idea.
