Yeah it is absolutely mental 
It is a massive difference riding this than the 4-stroke's I used to race. Im gonna have to alter my riding style completely but first of all im thinking im gonna have to go down a tooth or two on the rear sproket 
until i get used to it.
I only bought it as a bit of fun but now im tempted to start racing again 
2 Strokes = Win!!
I had a KXF250 which I just sold this year and I must admit, the 2strokes are much more fun to ride, a lot more lively!
What age is it Ben, any mods?!

Its a 2006 I originally bought it new then raced it for half a season then i sold it to a freind as i decided to go for a 2007 kxf250 as i was a bit lazy. Then last week he told me he was selling it at a price i couldnt refuse.
The only mods that are on it which i had done originally are a blueprinted engine, V-Force 3 reed block, Properly Jetted carb, Re-valved and set up suspension to my weight, style etc. I have just ordered a Pro-Circuit pipe and silencer for it and ive got my old wheels in the garage which im hoping will fit. It was just meant to be a bike to just mess around on when my mates go up the practice tracks but im already seriously tempted to start racing again
I've never run a 250 2 stroke at pace but have quite a lot with the 250 4 strokes. I do love the torque tbh, and I much prefer the noise of a 4 stroke.
What's the obvious difference?
Mate are you serious???? lol there isnt anything better than the sound and smell of a 2-stroke getting ragged around a track lol!!!

Umm there is quite a distinct difference in the riding styles of both bikes but the easiest way to describe it is a 4-stroke is like a diesel car and a 2-stroke is like a turbocharged petrol car. With a 4 you can just use the low down torque to pull you around but with the 2 stroke youve got to keep it in the sweet spot (power band) which is more or less flat out i.e the same as keeping the turbo boosting in the car.
