Now that i have a better camera and lens lineup I'm going to be retaking most of the photos along with a few others i missed. Canada is amazing for photography.

Rich,

Not spoken to you for a while.

Yep, done the Rockies a couple of times the last being March of 2009. Love ever second of it. The 5D Mk2 is going to be abused!

Where did you buy the Crucial kit from as I'm looking to expand the RAM in my MBP.

....I've got two pairs of Piloti's, Andy. They're an excellent shoe. I've recently got a boot style for Winter and a low-cut for Summer weather which I've had for 4 years.

.
Went into a shop just for some new boot laces and walked out wearing these:

More info:   http://www1.teva.com/gb/ProductDetails.aspx?g=m&categoryID=897&productID=4040&model=Sear+eVent

I usually buy Nike for this kind of shoe and haven't heard of TEVA but since buying them a friend tells me they're a highly rated brand. I haven't got them for driving - I have two pairs of Piloti's for that - but what sold them to me was that they're fairly waterproof.

Had a look at the Pilotis on pistonheads what are they like, comfy? would rather try them on before buying rather than buy in on t'internet.

....Comfy. Saint Steve was with me when we met Piloti's designer at the Racing Car Show. Their shoes are what he calls "lifestyle" shoes: Designed to be worn like casual shoes/trainers and not just for driving. I bought my first pair (low cut for Summer) a couple of years ago via the internet and IIRC they have a policy of return if you're not happy. I've got UK contact info if you want me to find it for you. Although flat and smooth, the soles are hard wearing.

Well i better summon up the last month

As i was in Thailand the objective for my Canon EOS 500D stopped working, it was a Tamron 28-175mm, so i have bought a 18-200mm Canon 71mm instead.
I'm not much into camera stuff but it is an okay package for me.

I've also had to buy this  :sad1: as the old one stopped working just before we went on vacation  :fighting:

As the car suffered from Battery drain with a revision L Canbus gateway i bought this from Ebay.de

This one is a bit of a cheat as i have gotten it from work as i participate in some company carting, but love it anyway :P

Over the top mod list ;o)

Rich

Hey Rich and Degudodger, I have always wanted to go to canada as i've heard it's a beautiful country with some stunning scenery. My brother and his wife went a few years ago and absolutely loved it and cant wait to go back. I just wanted to know what you guys found good to do there and also what made you like the rockies so much?.
