Yes it was a private sale to a mate of my brothers. He needed to pay 'cash' so could'nt take advantage of cheaper online deals and you'll be hard pressed to find a 5090 in a highstreet store.

He reckons the cheapest he saw them online was £2200 and the most expensive (wait for it) £2700!! so I got 2k and a sammy plasma probably worth £500 if it was new but it is immaculate as its been wall hung.

I wasnt going to turn that offer down...

No way, if I could find someone to offer me anywhere near that I think I'd make the jump!!

I have to agree you did get a fantastic price for you 5090 and to get another 50" thrown in on the deal is just the icing on the cake :happy2:

I know but its still hard to think that when Im watching a dark scene  and see how poor the blacks are!  :fighting:. You never know Stu I might give you the 2k and have your 5090  :rolleye:

I wouldn't. I haven't seen a screen that matches the Kuro yet. If i could have got one i would have instead of the Sony.

Superb wee coffee machine I was expecting to be terrible....works a treat, now trying to limit my caffeine intake. Fabby latte, capuchino and espresso in under a minute with no mess or fuss. :scared:

roberts 83i, Internet, dab, fm, USB, lastfm radio! Check it out on amazon, I got this in john lewis for £110 as the box was scruffy!!! Together with a 3 year warranty  :stupid:

Totally amazing bit of kit, worked with my wifi seamlessly and btw the last fm thing is totally fab...no ads, no dj, no bad music...cos i am the DJ  :jumpmove:

They are not pretty but I'd recommend it to anyone with wifi at home.
