My iPad 2 arrives this week.
Bought a smart cover for the front, and a belkin frosted back cover.

Yeh yeh, I know its all overpriced. But what the hell! Sold my original iPad for a very good price so spent less then £100 for the iPad2, and I only really got it so I can mirror with my AppleTV and play games etc with the kids.... ;)

Sold my iPad1 32GB for £350  :happy2:
Was like brand new back in its box with all plastic wrapping - even the outer shipping box etc as well.
I got a good price - they tend to go for much less now - probably around the £250-300 mark.

Well i took the Plunge over the weekend and bought myself one of these. Excuse the crap pic but that was taken with the PiePhone and NOT the camera  :signLOL:

Been looking for a replacement for my Lumix TZ6 for a while now. No other reason than i just wanted a newer camera with better zoom and a better sensor. Not had much of a play with it yet and i need to read the instructions so that i can use it properly but it does seem to take a lot better pictures than the TZ6. Also records full HD video but i won't use it for that as we already have a Full HD video camera.

Main Specs for the camera are:

  • Max resolution    4000 x 3000
  • Effective pixels    12.0 megapixels
  • Sensor photo detectors    12.7 megapixels
  • Sensor size    1/2.3" (6.17 x 4.55 mm)
  • Sensor type    BSI-CMOS
  • Processor    Expeed C2
  • ISO    Auto, 160, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 2000, 3200
  • White balance presets    5
  • Custom white balance    Yes
  • Image stabilization    Sensor-shift
  • Uncompressed format    No
  • Focal length (equiv.)    25 – 450 mm
  • Optical zoom    18×
  • Autofocus    Contrast Detect (sensor), Multi-area, Center, Tracking, Face Detection, Live View
  • Digital zoom    Yes (4x)
  • Manual focus    Yes
  • Normal focus range    50 cm (19.69")
  • Macro focus range    4 cm (1.57")
  • Number of focus points    9
