Another new bike, this time with no engine

Never really been into biking but bought it on the way home from work tonight and went out and did about 10miles, loved it! Off to the Lakes camping this weekend so it'll be coming in the back of the van

^ Mackie Onyx audio interface. To replace my Novation XioSynth 49-key synth and midi controller which I've only been using as a sound card between my Mac and Mackie mixer. The XioSynth will be for sale.

Much more info and review here:  http://www.harmonycentral.com/docs/DOC-1621

Mackie products are built like tanks and excellent quality. I also have a big Mackie amped stage monitor  :notworthy:

....You really can't go wrong with Mackie gear. More expensive and better designed than the likes of Behringer and M-Audio but they don't fail or fall apart!

My Mackie 6 mixer is purrfect for both desktop and gigs. I bought the Blackjack from Absolute Music Solutions in Poole - £131 and they give full advice on what gear suits your individual needs. It's too easy to buy the wrong gear!

My new iMac arrived yesterday but was DOA (Dead On Arrival) :sad1: - A replacement is on its way. The Blackjack should arrive on Monday. I'll let you know all about it. Meanwhile, do any of your muso fwends want to buy a mint condition Novation synthesiser/controller by any chance? I haven't put the word out here yet.

Got myself a set of these at the weekend for my MBP. Bose Companion 2 Series II Speakers.

Had a listen to them in the shop and even though the bloke was trying to tell me that some smaller speakers (Which were £130 more expensive) were better, to me the sound seemed a lot warmer from these than the others (Which were Bose Music Monitor Speakers)

Audio interface Mr Hedge. Its so I can record straight onto my mac (via USB interface) rather than using a crappy recorder I have be using. It also has the added benefit (which I didnt really think of until I set it up) of outputting better sound than my mac (better Digital-Analog converter), so now all my audio is routed through it into my NAD amp.
