Buying from simplyelectronics can be problematic MR Saint, I bought a lens off them and had to wait a very long time for delivery, some people have lost thousands through them. not saying it's the case all the time but i would not be handing them my cash again anytime soon. Try a google search on them.  :happy2:

Just got a 240gb one of these and installed it today. All i will say is OMG :surprised:

I'd read all the hype etc and thought ok it's good but is it really that good. Well all i can say is absofcukinglutley. It's like the difference between a Standard GTi and a Twin Turbo Lambo Gallardo. The MBP starts up in about 10 secs (not timed). But the really big difference is launching of Apps. It's instantaneous. Even my VM starts up in about 10 secs.

There really is now no need to buy another MBP for a few years with how fast this thing makes the machine. If you are contemplating this i can't recommend it enough. :happy2:

I know Solid state is tres cool. 

Was talking to local computer shop other week and he suggested unless spending mega bucks you're not going to match a high performance HDD? 

Germany is generally alot more expensive though.

Are SSD coming down in price now?
