What happens when you don't want the pic's horizon to be horizontal? Tilt for extra dramatic effect.

Nothing. Its only a level meter, it doesn't adjust the image.

Rich, did you buy any of the add-ons for the G12? i'm tempted to go for a teleconverter lens, as well as a flash.

^ Ground Loop Isolator (gets rid of 'feedback' hum from the computer).

It's that shiny little box behind the mixer and works a treat.

For those interested (Rich wig): My Blackjack has XLR mic, L & R outputs, headphones, and USB from Mac, all always connected.

Important to always zero the input/monitor levels from a computer before either Sleep mode or Shut Down, otherwise BANG!!!! when starting up again.

Bought this CCD sensor brand new for £20 off ebay



to fix this dead but still quite nice shirt pocket camera


and ended up with this after a steady 90 mins pottering (ignore the white line, it's not actually on the real image, maybe a result of taking a picture of a picture? Photo lads please join in if there's an easy explanation)


Much cheaper than Sony and Techguys estimate of over £230 just for the bits!

Looking good robin. Im slowly getting to grips with Logic... but i think I'm confusing myself by watching too many youtube clips.

....We probably need a dedicated section or at least a new thread for any discussions about Logic!

Logic is a bit like Photoshop inasmuch as each person only uses the parts which apply to them individually and extremely few folks use every single feature on offer. For me, a Bus is perfect for independently controlling how much effect is applied and also varying it if desired. Also for applying to separate tracks within the song.

Another of our weekly sessions in the studio tonight - With singer Lauren again  :party:  :pomppomp:
