The Senna film/documentary is quality. You need to concentrate cause alot of the footage is quite old. I thought I'd been watching 10 minutes but it had been on 50! What a sad loss of such a massive talent.

Did anyone read Chris Harris's review of the film?

That's the one. I found it quite insightful. I'm too young to remember any of the history around that time, although I remember Imola very well. It's sounds like there are lots of other interesting documentaries to further my interest in that era.

....Yes, I found that review very valid too, inspite of not having seen the movie yet. What Chris Harris had to say made a lot of sense.

I can remember F1 waay before Senna. I was around the likes of Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart, Graham (not son Damon) Hill, Jochen Rindt, Jack Brabham, etc etc.

I remember having Dinky Toys which were the cars of Fangio's era: Maserati, ERA, etc, then later Vanwall. It's where my love of Ferrari originated, plus riding in plenty of different Ferrari roadcars.
