The festool de-nib, as JPC has stated, is for spot repairs. When you touch up an area with paint, normally you would wetsand it so it's flat, and then machine polish. This essentially allows you to shave the raised area flat without affecting the surrounding paint.

Here's a DW link: clicky

I decided against a complete respray and have decided to go with this to touch up various areas on the car.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Cease your onanistic habits!

I got mine from DTC - expensive, and charged more than others have in the past so the price seems to be going up. Having said that, I rang up yesterday lunchtime and it arrive this morning at 8am.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

They also had the same snow shovel that Keith got (but for £10) so picked up one each for me & the Mrs  :happy2:

Did you have a part number for the shovel?
