The festool de-nib, as JPC has stated, is for spot repairs. When you touch up an area with paint, normally you would wetsand it so it's flat, and then machine polish. This essentially allows you to shave the raised area flat without affecting the surrounding paint.

I got mine from DTC - expensive, and charged more than others have in the past so the price seems to be going up. Having said that, I rang up yesterday lunchtime and it arrive this morning at 8am.

I just bought a Cupra 1P engine and 6speed gearbox including APR HPFP, S3 IC, Forge DV and stage 3 ECU with 54.000km on the clock. 
I wonder what will get done in December while i'm in Thailand???

I just bought a Cupra 1P engine and 6speed gearbox including APR HPFP, S3 IC, Forge DV and stage 3 ECU with 54.000km on the clock. 
I wonder what will get done in December while i'm in Thailand???

Just picked up one of these from the dealers

Thanks mate. They turned up on Thursday but we were both at work so sitting at the post office.

The Mrs is picking them up on Monday for me as I'm off to France for 3 days with work
