Both my pair of work boots and winter boots gave up the ghost in the last fortnight after over 10 years good service, so I needed some new ones. Long story but I ended up with these bad boys for £75 instead of £190 as they were a shop return. These Meindl are so good that I reckon I won't need another pair of winter boots for the rest of my life. I have already been on 3 long and hilly country walks since last Friday. I can't fault them. German of course.

Anyone else here had Meindl shoes/boots?

Since 2004 I've had 4 pairs of the very same Burma pro memory foam boots  :notworthy:

Same as mike....

I wore meindl boots everyday for work from 2004 -2008.

I bought my last pair in 2008 and instead of building sites everyday they are just worn now and then in autumn/winter time.

4 yrs on they are still like new now!!!
