Despite a raging hangover   I needed to clear the car, as it was filthy.

So went out and bought

I've been using AutoFinesse products, but seen quite a few folk on here talking about using black hole and nattys wax, so thought I'd give it a bash. I've already got PS EXP sealant and wheel sealant.

Here's the end result (though the iPhone pics don't really do it justice).

Have to say that I definitely prefer the poorboys range to auto finesse. It's much easier to apply and buff of and smells nice to boot. The AF stuff smelt like you were using WD40!

Funny that back in my day, brogues were fashionable amongst the upper classes and now they are back again. Very stylish shoe, IMO  :notworthy:

You're a brave man wearing an unbroken pair of Loakes for a whole day. I've got a couple of pairs and its generally 3 - 4 months before I feel comfortable wearing them for a decent amount of time. Good luck!

What did you pay for the vintage if you don't mind?

Oh dear! To late now, the leather does feel "firm", especially around the edge (if that makes sense). Do look good though.
