I paid £240 for supply and fit of 2 tyres last time (Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2's). Got free Nitrogen with it and free top-up whenever I need it. Oh, and they also changed my AP brake pads free which I supplied. Local boys who know and admire my car and the guy who does mine has an immaculate Mk3 GTI.

Then factor in fitting, so not such a big difference. IMO

Fish
Ahh ok.. thought that was just supply.

....Yes, there are hooks and eyes installed in the car (Mk5 GTI) you can instantly use.

One was already in the car under the parcel shelf and the other I bought from another forum member. You can buy them from your VW dealer but I don't know the part #.

The same net can stretch across the boot 'floor' too.  :happy2:

I assume the parcel shelf one is standard on a GTI?

Nice one Robin!  :notworthy:

Was trying to figure out where the "hanging" one hooked onto at the top, I now know.  :happy2:

I bought a pack of 3 from a chap on eBay (from Poland I believe) who had a set of 3. 1 flat one with 4 hooks that stretches across the floor, another (a la Robin's one that hangs behind the rear seats and a 3rd one that goes somewhere else!  Already have the underside parcel shelve one.

^^^^ love mine. So easy to use and the IQ Routes is very good indeed. One of the reasons I haven't got a RNS yet is I think this might be better.

Coming from a basic Tomtom that was at least 7 years old (that had 7 digit postcodes) i found the RNS510 navigation quite basic, it was better when Eddie-NL updated it for later version with speed cams but I am looking forward to using a Tomtom again (my old Tomtom was donated to my mates daughter who cant find her way off the drive home without a sat nav )
