I love squid, especially with some merguez sausages

I'm massively allergic to scallops but sometimes I can't resist them :ashamed:

Replacement wedding ring yesterday. Never been a fan of jewellery and never been overly keen on my existing wedding ring! So saw this and decided to get it. Wife hates it, which makes me like it more! :)

Links of London/mclaren mash up. Stainless steel and carbon fibre.

Not a typical wedding ring and not to everyone's taste. But that's part of the appeal for me!

I really love that carbon wedding ring! But I would love it as a finger ring anyway.

I assume you hadn't lost your original wedding ring. If not lost, I can understand your wifey hating it - If only because it's not the original "With this ring I do thee wed" (or whatever the marriage vow is - It's been a long time). Women are generally different about such things than us blokes are - They attach far more importance to such things. We probably only buy a ring because it's expected of us, otherwise we simply wouldn't bother.

Wearing a wedding ring tends to warn off those who might make a move on the wearer, by being a clear sign that they are in a committed relationship. For that same reason, some much prefer that their partner wears a wedding ring. Personally, as someone who is now single and free to mingle, I always respect a ring on a lady's wedding finger.

That certainly doesn't look like a typical wedding ring - Another reason to enjoy its individuality. If wearing it brings you pleasure, it should bring wifey pleasure (Ooops, I may need to reword that).

Not so much the sentiment. The wife just isn't a fan of the design. Though when we were sat at breakfast this morning she did say it looked better on and was growing on her.

Still got the original ring so that will be kept for sentimental reasons!

Well since I have been waiting to be paid and get January out the way I have now treated my, well the motorbike to a few new bits and pieces ready for the 'summer'.

So on the list we have Oxford Nano indicators for the rear. Current ones are shocking and don't fancy getting rear ended when someone doesn't see them.

New 45 tooth rear sprocket. Standard is 42 tooth so this one should give it a little more acceleration.

I have downloaded a map to load in, aptly named TOD or Tune of Death by its maker so eager to see what that is like.

Also a boring battery for my laptop as mine is dead and needs to be plugged in all the while.
