yes it's got the 140ps ACT unit that's also in the mk7

So it runs on a single cylinder upto 30, above 30 it's kicks in its 2nd bigger cylinder , and by time it hits 60 it then relies on wind power to be Eco green?

I'm in the recovering cripple club aswell!!

I was overtaken by OAP's in the swimming pool this week trying to help sort my Back problem..... Very embarrassing  :laugh:

Breaststroke is good as its keeps your lower back locked together.

^^^How have you found the build quality of the key? I bought one off egay and found the edges of the buttons section sticks out whereas on my own keys, they're flush.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

After 90k my old fob is so warn it's shiny and smooth.  This one is very similar to a new Polo key I had the other day as a courtesy car, the material is slightly textured; but there are no raised edges etc.

Are you going to move the transponder into the new key or get a new transponder? Concerned about mine breaking if I try to move it into the new housing.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago to replace my stage 2+ gti.
997 C4S it has pse too, which was a must have.
Planning on owning for a year, then on to a gtd :)
