Very interested in how a soundbar actually sounds whether it is comparable to full on 5.1 system or not.

They have squeezed this lot in there:

2x ø90mm (3.5 in) subwoofers
2x ø75mm (3.0 in) midrange
4x ø75mm (3.0 in) surround channels
1x ø25mm (1 in) metal dome tweeter

Obviously you don't get the sound coming from speakers behind you with 5.1, but its good enough without the clutter of speakers, woofers, tweeters and wires.
You can set it up to the distance away your sitting and if you sitting to the right or left, all HDMI and I think you can get an extra wireless Subwoofer.

The remote is good, one touch activities turns on and off devices and sorts out the inputs  :happy2:

I remember seeing an early Yamaha Soundbar which had an array of position-able speakers which you could setup to bounce sound of the walls so it appeared to come from behind you.

I must admit my lounge has a full 5.1 system which is not the most discrete looking. As it's only me and the cat I don't get too many objections.

Few nice things this month   Wanted to join the headlight group buy but with my wedding 12 weeks away and the following treats this month, it wasn't gonna happen.

Purchased a cube road bike 11 months ago to see if I enjoyed it, I certainly did so picked up a boardman carbon road bike to replace it which seems about the best value bike under £1500 after a few sessions on the turbo and 2 30 mile rides this week is an absolute joy.  (I've already replaced the white bar tape with black tape)

Got a sonos play 3 a few weeks back and quite frankly, it's one of the best devices I've ever used, sound quality is stunning and the ease/convenience makes it a joy to use.

After intending to put the play 3 in the lounge it very quickly ended up in the bike/turbo trainer room and seeing as though I was so blown away by it, I couldn't help but add a play 5 to the lounge.  Sound quality is another level again.  Very impressed but can't help but think maybe another play 3 is needed for the kitchen
