Got a little carried away and it was a great deal.
The guy I bought it from sold me Phoenix RC simulator for a tenner when I picked it up. He made me promise to get to grips with it before attempting to fly it! I will.
Went into a reasonably local RC shop earlier today to scope it out (parts may be required) and to source a charger (the only thing I don't have).
The guy thought I was a little off my nut - In an evil genius kind of way!

Didn't at any point tell me it was the worst choice I have ever made - just to be careful. Kind of like teaching yourself to drive with a Dodge Viper in the wet!
