^^^ If you dont have the ignition on it doesn't matter if you disconnect the airbag connector.  :happy2:

A new car for the wife which we pick up March the 1st (not long now...)

And a new mountain bike for me.  Full carbon cube HPC 160 race 650b.  4 rides so far, brilliant machine

Very nice Cube mate, I've not long since built a Cube fritzz for a friend. Have you checked if the forks have had the recall done? Some thing to do with the internals but I'm not sure specifically call Mojo and speak to them. But any fox 34 evo fork should be checked for the fault.

Hi mate, its a 2014 bike so no issues with this years forks.  It was the 2013 forks that were the issue but mainly the 32's from what I've read.  Apparently the only real solution for the 2013 forks is to have the internals replaced with this years internals.  Put me off any 2013 bike bargains to be honest.

I've been blown away by the bike tbh, 160mm travel, reverb, 34mm forks, fat tyres, wide rims and it still only weights 12.8kg and climbs better than my old trance x   I'm like a new rider on the techy descents now, thought I'd reached my capability but I'm trying everything I never attempted before and I'm getting braver and braver (or more stupid)

That's right, I'm still thinking of 2013 bikes :D never mind me mate. I have a 2011 Cannondale Jekyll 3, the only thing that's not been upgraded on it is the frame and rear shock every thing else went bye bye. Got a massive high end spec on it and like you I've got to that stage where everything is rideable.

I'm on the look out for a decent DH rig now possibly Scott gambler, GT Fury maybe a Trek session not sure yet but not sure I want to sell my Dale to fund it :D I've done plenty of DH trails on my Dale and it more than copes with whatever you chuck at it.

I'll make this a recently bought post as well while I'm here,

My new house should be built by the end of May, cannot wait  :happy2:

All this talk of Mountain Biking really takes me back to my youth. I remember going to London for the Bike '96 expo, meeting Keith Bontrager, getting Jo Burt of MBUK to draw me a Mint Sauce cartoon, having a good chat with the late Jason McRoy about signing for Specialised etc.... I spent loads on bikes (for a 15/16 year old anyway) Flite transalp saddle, full XT groupset, Mavic ceramic rims, snowflake front wheel, X-Lite, Pace, Hope etc. what brilliant memories. Thank you for my 10 minutes of nostalgia. Ought to get back into it. Cousin owns a great bike shop, so no excuse really.

It's funny you should ask as me and the wife are going to write to audi uk as the service they offered is better than any company in any industry we've ever dealt with.  I've never ever written to compliment good service but I really feel the need to give this dealership some recognition.

They let us have a red amplified black edition tt for an afternoon, came up with a big discount without us even pushing, we dealt with a member of sales who couldn't do enough for us and made the buying process an absolute pleasure.  The sales manager was superb.  They gave Karen a massive arrangement of flowers on collection day, offered breakfast and coffee when she popped in to sign paperwork one of the mornings.

The Xenons seemed a little low (they are as high as is legal it turns out) so she mentioned this when they made a courtesy call last tue to see how we were getting on and they booked it in the next morning.  She was greeted at the door and keys taken, breakfast offered, coffee, power point to laptop and wifi as she was working and made her a coffee to go in a costa style take away cup for the road.

I've had horrific dealings with Incape VW which is why I no longer own a vw.  My a3 will be replaced with an audi and no doubt the tt will be replaced with another audi.  If they maintain their service levels then I'll never look elsewhere.
