It was quickly replaced, as other much better phones from Samsung came out..cost me a small fortune to get out my contract with that Nexus, and let's face it the iPhone 3G wasn't a great phone and the nexus was better at that time.

I'm not sure it is. The Note 2 came out at the end of 2012 and you got your Nexus in 2011 (can post more quotes if you'd like?). Perhaps you meant the S2?

My nexus was a 24 month contract, so I payed 12 months worth of subs so your time scales are correct and I jumped into the Note series phones, which I replaced my note 2 with a 3 a few months back.

You'll have a fantastic time, Big Island was amazing as was Maui which we were on for 10 days or so before we went to Big Island. Breath taking scenery, volcanoes, great roads for driving, i'd go back in a heartbeat  :happy2:

I wouldn't call Big Island commercialised - certainly wasn't back in 2010 and not likely to be vs Oahu which is easily the most populated island in hawaii and where most of the holidaying yanks go
