Perhaps review your price??

Ifti had issues trying to sell at his 1st price. Had to drop and then sold.

Trade value might be worth something?.

If your in the hunt for R32, Hedge done the same as you recently.

Good luck, but i think all things that command a good price are struggling to sell. Im having difficulty selling some near new Detroit alloys.

No one seems to have the money at the moment :sad1:

Good luck selling her. She is a very tidy example :happy2:

Still think it's a bit of an ask at that price, especially with no extras.
You need to aim around the £15-16k mark IMO - however last time I mentioned this my post was removed.

I'm not trying to be a git mate, but with the way the Market is at the moment, such cars aren't selling very well. I dropped from £18k down to £17k and even then I wasn't getting many views, even though the car had some extras on it!

Either keep the car as it is a collectors item after all, or be prepared to drop the price if you still continue to get no interest. Personally, if you don't really need the money, and it seems like you don't if you are prepared to swap for a R32, I would just keep the Ed30.

I agree with Ifti, I actually bought his car. I dont mean to be sh*tty m8 but I think you will struggle to sell at that price as its has no options. Ppl like spec unless its cheap. Your car looks absolutely stunning tbh and I know its gutting when you have cherished your car. Think ppl are also very nervous of spend money with the new government. I know my m8 in the trade is very very quiet. He usually turns over a min of 30 cars a month and so far this month he has only sold 5!!!

I'm too scared to say what I think.

Have to tried posting on the R32oc forum?

Maybe someone sick of paying £435 a year for road tax will take up on your offer....

Your pistonheads advert is in the standard mk5 & mk6 section, not the mk5 GTI section, may get more interest if its moved to the correct section?

i must be the only person then that thinks because its such low mileage is worth atleast that, would help if it was DSG or had some spec but for me that looks like a great price for a good car to be fair.

Have you rang any dealers to see what they would give you for it part ex against a R32???

May be worth a shout
you should be able to get a very good deal if you shop around. As I ( yes im in the trade) would personally rather have a low mileage ED30 on my forecourt than a R32 which according to my colleagues in VW arent selling very well.

Either that or hang on for someone to buy which in time someone will dont go giving it away for the sake of getting a quick sale :happy2:

If someone got rid of a car because they paid about £20 a month more on tax than another car they would be very deluded  :stupid:

Do people even consider car tax when buying a vehicle, seems mad for such a small value when broken down each month!

Maybe you're correct, perhaps it's of no consequence to most people. Bugs the sh*t out of me tho for all sorts of reasons. There still could be R owners who would consider an ed move, so a notice on R32oc cannot do any harm.
