I had someone bid on something of mine at Christmas time and he was from Holland and registered on the day he bidded. I clearly stated in the auction that international bidders had to contact me before bidding for a postage quote but he didn't, so I cancelled his bid only for him to bid again. This went on for a couple more bids and cancellations and in the end I sent him a message telling him he should have contacted me first. He said he didn't realise (despite it being in the listing) and asked what could he do to make me accept his bids. He gave me all of his details so I let the auction run but had a niggle in the back of my mind that he wasn't going to pay. He did pay, although it was a bit slow as he didn't set up a Paypal account until the auction had ended so it took a while for the funds to clear and get to me. I posted it out to him and had no word back whether he received it, no feedback, nothing! I e-mailed again asking if it had arrived and luckily it had and he turned out to be genuine in the end. Obviously needs a few lessons on Ebay etiquette though!
