LED brake light lights

hi all

the led brake lights, light up but are very dim any suggestions on the problem or how to fix it?????   :sad1:
ie.
fuse
loose wire
faulty
?
???

OEM or after-market clusters?
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

Are you talking about the single high level brake light or have you fitted the OEM LED clusters on both sides? 

If its the high level brake light, see this guide for replacing it, its a common fault to have this unit fail and the official dealer fix is expensive.

it is on my friends gti
the high level brake light , sorry i should have been more specific...
I will check this thread out & see wot i can manage to do thanks for the info.
I will keep this updated, because if it is a common fault it will let others be more aware....
its the fact that it still lights up but is very faint, thats the part that gets me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the part number given in this guide is it a vw part from dealer
