Always been a bit anal about tyre pressure with previous cars. Checking every time I fill up. 
 

You should never use the garage pressure gauges they are wildly in accurate. 

....My local digital ones are only 1 psi out when compared with my onboard TyreSure monitor.

Yes, each wheel has a pressure sensor built into the valve.

Nice bit of kit that - but do the valves work with the Monza 2 wheels as people have mentioned the valves are different to standard valves.

They have their own valves and work with just about any wheel inc Monza 2's

Having seen the one in Robin's car the other day I think I want to get one of them doohickeys. Should've been standard fitment on the GTI instead of the crappy ABS sensors.
