Question about seat trim.....(mine's come undone)
« on: May 23, 2010, 08:06:58 pm »

Piccies kinda say it all really  :sad1:

Looks like the seams have burst (so good news hopefully).....

Any ideas where to start looking to (b) get it repaired) and (b) some ball-park figures for the repair?

Thanks,

Dan

Is your car still under warranty, Dan?

Otherwise a local-ish coach builder specialist. There's some good VeeDub guys up north.

Hey Robin,

It's got A warranty 3rd party thing (very much doubt that seat bolster wear will be a fault - wear and tear) - I will ask them anyway.

Forgot to say, based in Herefordshire.

.
Yes, unfortunately I expect they would say 'wear & tear' - You can understand their point of view.

Ask the guys on here who do shows and upholstery stuff to their VW's - Someone will know a source.
