Think I prefer the standard chrome type look.

The username rings a bell. If it's the same person, the badge is a fake, and has a poor finish. Cost me £15 for just the front. From a distance it probably wouldn't look too bad but I do too many miles for that badge to withstand.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Guess who has lol..... Me lol
I decided as a temp, poss alternative look!
IMO they look the part and I'm prepared to either change regularly or go back to chrome at some stage!
They were a git to fit tho they do NOT just use same clip etc. OH NO that would be far tooooo easy!

i got a set from a uk seller, £5 for both, the quality is pretty good and ive not had any fade yet, i think they look better than chrome on a black gti.

I've recently bought a set of these and the quality is poor...red has overspilled into the silver and they are plastic, double sided tape on the back is poorly cut too. And as others have stated the fornt one will not fit and has crappy rivet/washer type fastening. The prices has recently gone up from £19.99 plus £4.00p&p to the current £23.99 plus P&P :chicken:

Just my two pennth worth..
Cheers,

Wayne
