Looks great buddy, glad you got the side skirts and wheels sorted, looks really together rather than a collection of bits.  :congrats:

Well done mate! Looks lovely!
Bloody hell, i remember when we were both talking to each other before we bought our Golfs, and we were both struggling to raise the extra cash to buy the ones we wanted! Lol
You've come a long way since! Bravo!

lol at ifti- so true mate. i cant believe how much money ive spent and dont tell SWMBO for gawds sake!

RR- do you mean the carbon covers? if so-no work done they are just mastic held. so i can access the lights if need be or a change is called for.

bad news this morning.... (big rant in my head  :fighting: :sad1:), but  bloody tenant in my house just give me notice so thats the modding money up the tubes for a while. so no more work can be done on her for a while. but ill get some more pics up as and when i can.

There is a process whereby you can transfer a carbon effect print onto whatever you want by "water transfer" process. The item you want the print on is dipped into water which is already impregnated with the carbon effect transfer, when the item is dipped the transfer sticks to the item and then you can laquer it to seal it onto the item. :happy2:
Golf R gone.

hi guys.
been a bit slow on updating this thread.
had so many plans and changed as funds or options became available or unavailable and esp as funds did or didnt allow...
so a few stickers..... ive gone a bit mad and masdubation one to follow!!

big fanx to VC!!
i had an unsatisfactory day at the garage.
firstly the dp didnt arrive in time,... then the guy who was recommended was a tw#t,good but not someone i will let loose on my car again....
so the new intake- am struggling to get used to the noise and the feel at the mo altho i have only driven it for a few miles since..p-flow

and the fresh pork that daveB supplied....and again i,m not HP... the guy insisted they didnt need the  anti rattle shims i sourced so they squeek a lill... they are going on friday...cant get over how light they were esp when i picked up the std ones to wrap and put in the boot...bloody hell!!
they feel beta than std already and they havent bedded in!!

and wheels on.....

i apologise for thow dirty she is...she ll be clean for UD on sunday lol.

and so....
the plan in next few weeks...
hopefully 3"DP going on this afternnooon or at very latest tomo.
pick up evoms engine cover from mr greeners at UD.. this centre panel and the battery cover will be carbon dipped but not till next week as the company cannot do and wont rush it bu the wkend(sorry big al)
and i,m afraid thats it for a few months.

BUT.... i have the uprated internals for the fuel pump. i need to save for the intercooler and stage2+ software so be prepared for me to bug the hell out of you as i research all that jazz

then.....long term plans ... alphards and coils.
i know they are said to be played but i have to have a set in my life!!!!

more pics to follow next week as i add the shiny stuff!!!
fanx for listening, and esp a few of you i have pestered for advice over the past few weeks
