sorry mate cant find the thread about your suspension ! is your only suspension mod the sport line springs ??

Yes mate, WALK to be added before the pod  :happy2:

Cheers Coco
yes sorry  your car looks awesome mate  , whats the drop in mm with the sportlines ? says 30 mm on the web site but it dont look that much, yours looks about what i want any down side to them ? happy with the drive as it is really

It's about 25-30 I'd say. Wouldn't want to go anymore as Im a bit OCD when it comes to cleaning the arches out! I haven't found a single drawback with them as yet. The ride is probably a tad bit harder but nothing more than you'd expect and certainly not what I'd call uncomfortable. Go for it  :happy2:

ill have to give jbs a ring tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Love the look. I wanted a step-by-step account nousey!

Few Qs:

- Any problems with using sealant after wax? I've got collies and am planning to stick 465 on to the wheels followed by PBs wheel sealant.

- when using two wash mitts, where's the 'middle' for you? Under the windows? Or under the door bump strip?

- Fast glass - I've used this but found it to be crap. What do you use to apply? Have you tried using AGs glass polish?

- hows the leather stuff on the ED30 'leather'? I still haven't used any treatment on mine because of so many people lovin' and hating' glipitone.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Nope, always used this method.

Under the door strip

I find it really easy to use, my only complaint would be they don't seem to stay clean (inside) for long!

Gliptone was recommended by 182_Blue so it's good enough for me  :happy2:

I've used the Gliptone product on two cars now...firstly my father's Porsche, and secondly my friend's TT.

Porsche - the seats are a soft leather (special order), and were beginning to crease. They also had a few scuffs on them. I used the Gliptone cleaner, scuffmaster and conditioner. The scuffmaster worked well, and the conditioner basically removed all the creases completley!! Amazing product. 6 months later, and they have yet to come back!

TT - stunk of smoke from the previous owner. The leather was a silver colour and desperately needed cleaning, as it was looking more on the black side! Used the cleaner and conditioner. Result - cleaner didn't really do any more than a wet towel would have. Not too impressed. Conditioner worked wonders. Completely removed a few creases/ruffles, and the car now stinks of leather!! Not a smoke odour at all, which I was absolutely taken aback by!

Definitely recommend the Gliptone products.

Very nice Nath, glad I'm not the only who takes that long to clean me car... :driver:

Off topic...one of my neighbours had a floormop on her Modus the other day...don't think I'll be asking her to clean my car. :signIWS:
