Has anyone ever bled the abs pump with vagcom?
« on: May 25, 2010, 02:42:10 pm »
Guys im having a bit of trouble with my brakes, fitted a used abs pump so i could have the TPMS function but after my mate at vw fitted it the brake is not the best,he bled the pump twice and the peddle still feels like theres air in the system,so i took it to star performance and had a brake fluid service done witch has improved the brakes slightly but im still not happy!!!was told from star performance that it might be the abs pump but there are no fault codes coming up.so im pretty much stumped and need some advice guys.
i know that on the ross-tech website there is a way to  bleed the abs pump but i was wondering if anyone else has tried it and

cheers

scott

You should really only need vcds for bleeding the abs valves on a diesel.
Without traction power is nothing!
