Monza II warranty replacements

I noticed when cleaning mine yesterday, there's the ever so slight beginnings of the old white-worm. Just on the edge where the rim is turned, it appears to be bleeding under the lacquer.

The car is just over 2 years old, so I'm not worried about getting them swapped ASAP.. but how far do they have to have gone before VW will agree to swap them - Will they swap on a little corrosion, or will I have to run around with grotty wheels until they're bad enough to be deemed worthy of replacing?

JPC:
it depends on the dealer.

white worm is white worm, no matter the quantity. its only going to get waaaay worse! you know how bad the problem was with the anni wheels! id get to the dealers now if i were you, they probably wont do anything on the first visit, but at least you are registering your concern.

You never know, they might hook you up.

England is just not the best place for bare metal + Lacquer alloys! :(

Top Cat:
From what i have read over the months its a no quibble if they have not been near any curbs. I think though you would get the new Ronal ones, so i would check for a good match.

Aye, to be fair I just called Warrington last time with the anni and they just said as long as they're not curbed, bring them in and we'll swap 'em. That place is now sadly run by f***tards and I wouldn't trust them with a Matchbox car.

Anyone know a decent dealers in Cheshire/Manchester?

JPC:
gilbert lawton seemed to be ok when i was there last year
