Time for some TFSI magic
« on: May 25, 2010, 09:33:27 pm »
Good news or bad news, depending on how you look at it (i have more reason to stick around here now)

Its got lots of options, just need to source the satnav as its the only thing missing really.

Bose, parking sensors, MFSW, phone prep, rain and light sensors (more but i cant remember)

I decided i didnt want to get the same car again (R32) as it just seemed wrong. This seemed the logical alternative, its a manual so not perfect (would have loved DSG) but it shifts, can only imagine what its like after some remap magic!
I went through audi finance, currently comes with 2 years free servicing (which will cover the 40,000 service) managed to get them to refurb all 4 wheels (although only one was kerbed i wanted them all done) and went for GAP insurance on it.

Im very very happy, wont pick it up till sunday, maybe tuesday if the refurbs not done.

Have to say it sound superb, its no V6 and will never ever sound as good but the exhaust is throaty with a great pop on the over run and the turbo sounds fantastic.

Ill get some more pics after i have it and clean it.

Cheers. If RR could adivse on those LED fog lights (but for an audi obviously) would be greatly appreciated!

I will miss the fridge but this will make up for it

It was £20k, im paying £350 a month which includes GAP. £7k balloon and 46 months. Ill probly trade it in around 3 years for something newer.

Cheers everyone. I might look at wrapping the chrome front and wing mirrors but at the moment (bar the satnav) its perfect!

The 3.2 quattro isthe bargain car of the year mate, an exhaust on it will see the same power as the R32 and a remap will make it quicker. Seeing as you can have them for £8k its a superb car!

very nice mate, it was either S3 or K1 for me.

K1 swung it due to more in yer face looks, and I was only 19 at the time.

4WD is the future though  :signLOL:

Watch out where you park as the S3 door mirrors are highly sort after by the wrong type of people.

I seriously considered the K1 mate, as you know, but the quattro swung it for me after driving my mums standard GTI the other week as it struggled to put the power down in 1st in the dry. Decision was made after that, flooring it out a junction in 1st with no fuss today reinforced the decision and i went for it!

I live in apartments so its parked in a secure car park mate, then just need to be careful where i take it.

Going to enjoy it standard mate and add mods as i get bored (if i do lol)  :happy2:
