VW Soundpack speakers?

Are these basically the speakers from the Soundpack? I was thinking they might be a little bit better OEM wise for if/when I get an RNS510.

Could anyone locate the VW part number, as I suspect as usual they're cheaper from the dealer than ebay?

If you can afford aftermarket speakers, go for them instead. VW speakers (even the soundpack ones)aren't very good by any measure. The newer dynaudio upgrade that VW have started doing is much better. For best results go for an aftermarket head unit too

If you don't want to faff around with things like baffles and such, Rainbow produced some speakers for VW mk5 Golf and they're designed to be a straight swap.

Are there any details of the Dynaudio parts knocking about yet?? I don't want/need anything silly - just nicer sounding.

Looking at another Becker as an alternative, but I do like the OEMness of the RCD/RNS-510 and its linked functions to the computer/MMI link.

I've not seen any ebay sales on them yet, but the Dynaudio pack sounds decent in the Passat. Not heard it in the Eos though. I can entirely understand your OEM+ fetish too

you cant beat the RNS 510 for OEM'ness. ass a JL cleansweep and amp to that and you have sound quality to match any aftermarket HU.

The RNS 510 deserves the JL cleansweep cos its sooo nice!

The Rainbow stuff sounds interesting, Dynaudio would be the ideal - basically so long as it's not too expensive and sounds ok, as this will be a fit and forget mod, so it has to be OEM+. No custom installs etc..

Amps and subs are well off my radar Jay! you can only listen to radio 2 so loudly!!

IMHO Your only going to see the full benefit of the Dynaudio stuff if you source the full amp setup, I am keeping my eye out for an Eos being broken for spares with this option as like Hurdy said in the Passat it sounds very good 

What age is your car Mike?

It's an older model then you might already have the 10 speaker setup which combined with the RNS/RCD-510 will produce a noticably better sound than the RCD-300.

I've got the RCD510 with the 10 speaker soundpack, also has some sort of amplifier under the passenger seat - sounds ok actually, not bad for a factory setup.
