Problems with boost pressure 5000-7000 rpm

(1/3) > >>

Sagild:
Hi guys

One of my friends was at Wörthersee and got his car a revo stg 2 map. At first the car was driving nicely but when he got home to Denmark he started experiencing what feels like serious boots problems from 5000-7000 rpm. Its like the car looses all pressure for like half a sec. or so (300-500 rpm), and then it returns and goes away again, and returns.

The car is a Seat Leon 2.0 TFSI 2006 which has done aprox. 70.000 km. it has 3"TBE, BSH intake, Forge DV and the cam follower was replaced 6.000 km ago. He has changed what he calls "thrust sensor" to the newer K version, cause he has read that might be the reason online, but no help. He then tried to change fuel filter with no luck either.

He drives our vpower which is ron 99 and Revo setting B7 T4 F9

It seems like others are experiencing the same problem, but he says there's no solution to be found online. I stated that you guys most def. would be able to help, so i am hoping not to let him down  :signLOL:

PDT:
log the AFM, Boost actaul and requested and rail pressure actual and requested.

Hurdy:
Those settings are relatively mild, so I wouldn't have thought that they should cause issues.

Boost act v's requested
Rail pressure act v's requested
cylinder 1-4 timing

These logs should give some insight :happy2:

Sagild:
I have asked my mate to log it, so i'm just waiting till he gets a hold on a cable and i'll post the results asap

vRS Carl:
He could be getting fuel cuts but that's just a guess.

There is no way of knowing though without looking at logs so as has been mentioned get him to get it logged
