I agreed a price of £280 then paid him £40 extra to cover postage and paypal fees to keep the deal sweet! I have had 3 bad buys in a row from e-bay!

I wonder where he is in West Mids - maybe a trip over to collect the parts!

I enquired about these via http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/241174.aspx to see if he'd split the back brakes.

Foxy who posted the ad is a good lad, but I think he'd posted it for a mate, as I got a response off a Neil Skinner. Is this the same person?

Mike.
Sideways yo!

I now have my refund! Probably take 2 weeks before it gets back in my bank knowing paypal! Stay clear of this guy!

Thanks everyone for your help on this matter!

I have now been put off the idea of a set of second hand brakes! Not worth the hassle! Probably look into some brembo's once I return back to the uk!

See Matt and get a brand new set, I am sure he was doing a good price for them.

The same guy on SCN can also get the optional Leon Brembos at a decent price - might be worth a look??

I'd take the RS4 set up over those any day of the week though.

I am pretty sure that this kit still has to small pieces missing so i think the price is very similar to Mats  :happy2:

though.

I am sure we all would but the price is over double so its not surprising that they are another league.

Does any one know the actual stopping distance differences in yards or metres with all these different kits. If not it would be interesting to do some brake tests at one of the meets. I would like to see the difference between standard and the cupra kit, then also compared to your drool worthy kit Mike.
