I could do with this info as well as i've got the panel that surrounds the glovebox to replace - so i can get rid of the factory car cradle thing and not leave a big hole in the dash

Pop out the few bits of trim around the glovebox, there should then be about 7 torx screws holding it in place, whip them out and it should pull out. There will be a couple of wire connections, one for the lighting, airbag and a small piece of pipework for the glovebox A/C that need disconnecting.

The re-build is exactly the opposite.

Luke.
If you have to ask why, you'll never understand.

As Snapey said but with a picture from Elsawin

Removal
–   Switch off ignition.
–   Remove side dash panel cover on front passenger side → Chapter.
–   Release sill panel moulding from body, in area of transition to lower A-pillar moulding:
t   Two-door → Chapter
t   Four-door → Chapter
–   Remove A-pillar lower trim on front passenger side → Chapter.
–   Remove centre cover → Chapter.

–   Remove the seven bolts -1-, -2- and -3- (1.5 Nm).
–   Slide glove compartment outwards onto limit stop -arrow A-.
–   Detach glove compartment -arrow B- from dash panel.
–   Disconnect wiring harness from light and contact switch.
–   If vehicle is equipped with front passenger airbag disabling, disconnect wiring harness from key switch.
–   If vehicle is equipped with glove compartment cooling, disconnect air conditioning duct from glove compartment.
–   If vehicle is equipped with a footwell light, disconnect wiring harness from light
