Ive taken the golf off the road for winter again this year, so i bought a wee 6n polo valver. So gave the wee polo a clean today and forgot my camera  :slapped: , so excuse the crap pictures from my iphone. Just gave it a quick wash, then a spray with some duragloss spray detailer and dressed the tyres. Also gave the interior a good clean as its been sitting for a wee while. Its got FK coilovers, G60 brakes with green stuff pads, a de-badged FK grille and a few other wee bits and bobs, a great wee winter car.

Nice, Mrs Chopper had a red 16 valver, it also had the solitude alloys too.  :happy2:
Cheers,

There pretty good wee cars. The alloys are a standard upgrade I believe.

To be honest, it needs correction detail to remove some deeper scratches and swirling. It had been sitting for around 4 years doing nowt. So when I got it it was absolutely hanging!  While its was off the road it got a full re-build after a snapped belt. 4 brand new yokohamma a539's, brand new g60 calipers and green stuff pads and brake shoes on the back. And brand new fk coil overs, that's hadn't turned a wheel, aswell as a refurb on the alloys. A good wee buy that just needs some tlc. I might actually keep this as a second car. It goes pretty well for a 1.4 and handles like a go-kart  :scared:

Great car there Craig! I love the 2 litre TSFI engine vw make. I used to have a purple s3 heavily modified by MTM and looking at this has made my day. Any plans for upgrading the fuel pump and have you thought about wrapping the induction pipe in heat sheiding tape. I'm fussy about heat soak

Ive got a autotech HPFP on at the moment. Going to hopefully get a few things done to the car this winter, Eibach sportlines for a start then fit the BSH catch can ive had sitting for a while and a few other wee bits. Tempted to buy a second set of Pescaras for a colour change, possibly black or a anthracite grey. Also considering changing the software to Revo from GIAC.

Well the golf is still off the road  :rolleye: it's due it's mot and a service at the start of march so will be out for that.

Gave the wee winter runner a freshen up, in the way of a quick wash and spray with some blakfire detail gloss

Also got a few parts to go on the golf

Genuine open fogs
3" de-cat BCS downpipe to mate up with 3" blueflame
BSH catch can
Eibach sportlines
Pressed plates
Edition 30 badge for grille

Can't wait, also going revo stage 2+  :pomppomp:

Had some spare time tonight, so took the golf down to my unit to give it a clean and put on my new pressed plates and edition30 badge for the grille. Used the werkstat acrylic kit, can't beat this on white in my eyes. Pics aren't the greatest, but you get the idea.

It will be getting a proper detail before going back on the road properly, as the finish could be better. So will set aside a few days for that.

Next up will be to get the wheels painted a little darker and fit the sportlines.

candy white is one of the best colours for a ED30 imo! looks soo nice

just a cheeky question, what bulbs did you use for the numberplate lights? and did they throw up any errors?

Is the edition 30 badge just an eBay jobbie stuck on to the grill?
