Hi mate,

I had them install an RNS-510 into my ED30 over 6 months ago...................

They made a great job & were good to deal with, didn't take them long!! Seemed a good couple of guys  :happy2:

Unit came with a 3 month warranty too.................

Depends how confident you are at fitting yourself I guess??!

I watched them fit mine..............& would definately have a go at doing one myself now!!

It really is easy get some dash removal tools to remove the dash to avoid scratching then a few screws, switch them over and job done!

I've tried twice to buy something off them - They are chuffin useless, poor customer service, don't return calls etc - Anyone would think its costing them money when they sell you something.  I would avoid at all costs.

Like has been said, do it yourself, or get darren to do it!

They fitted 1 in my E30  about 8 months ago , also had the bluetooth hands free fitted at the same time .  I must admit when I arrived I did feel a little uneasy there and they did try to wisk me away whilst they fitted it .  But I must say I have been very happy with it . 1 of the best things I have done to the car .

It's not maybe a 10 or 15 minute job as said if you've not done it before, however it is something you can definately do yourself. it's all relatively straight forward the only thing you won't be able to do is code it to the car with out VCDS or reset any of the airbag warning lights that you might unplug when taking the dash apart.

As for tools a couple of credit cards and a torq screwdriver and you're away.

Honestly its such a simple job.

Ive fitted 3 now and its so easy. Im selling my RNS for £500 and would fit it for that cause it takes literally 10 mins. Save yourself some £'s and buy the bluetooth module to go with it

AS said before its a really easy job, plus if you buy a unit off here, most will have already been updated to the latest firmware so you know the units havent been messed with.  Think there are two for sale at the moment, Smudgster whoi has posted above and JPC if you pick one of those up save yourself a couple of £'s and then find someone on here who would be happy to come and help you fit it.

Or get the guide and have a go yourself, its 9 screws and pulling some trim, the scariest part is pulling the vents out, and if you dont turn the ignition on you shouldnt have any airbag issues.

Where are you based would be the next question to see if anyone will volunteer to give you a hand and do some coding?
