Fair enough then  :happy2:

I know a lot of people were complaining they didn't make the 300bhp

One of the blokes at work has one and had his tested and it only got 276bhp  :surprised:

Might tell him to go and get it back on the RR

According to fifth gear the Focus RS only does 0-62 in 7.3 secs  :surprised: :signLOL:

Think they need to go check their figures :signLOL:

well the meganne spanked the focus RS by quite a big margin.  The focus RS spanked the RoccoR, and we already know the rocco is faster on track than the golf R.  prob a good thing they never had the golf there, could have been quite embarassing given the price tag of it.

Don't  forget that there has been tests with the Rocco R being quicker round track than the RS. Bit odd really..

Sorry Sy, but the Rocco's back seats are very poor - You can't see out the side windows unless you're a child - and the back isn't hatch shaped. It's a Golf coupe, not a hatchback imo.

still faster than the golf R though  irrelevant of what type of car you think it is

that is true, however in the 4 or 5 vids i have seen now with these cars in the meganne has always been the top car, with the Rocco R and RS, being very competetive with each other.

that said the golf R might have had a slight advantage with the traction in the damp.  I wander if that was why the rocco R was left behind, since it was the only one without a proper LSD.

it was a poor review of all the cars, they couldnt have spent morwe than 1 minute on each of the cars.  3 of the most important cars to hit the market

Some serious quality issues are already cropping up though. Several instances of the plastic inlet manifold exploding - one instance I know of needed a new bonnet! And they weren't mapped either, so standard boost pressure.

I'd take either R over the chav-chariot any day of the week. There's more to life than peak power figures and lap times. Point to point, on an a-typical British road, in a-typical damp British weather, I know where my money would be. All £37.5k of it.
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?
