I got the Oil cap from awsome GTI and its a quater of a turn out, i did manage to split the cap but can't align it with the locators inside..........................

I have just left it the way it is,    a qt turn out . looks the part.    hardly matters if its perfectly stright. 
if you wanted to show some1 how it looks stright, just strighten it up. lol 
i will post a few pics up all being well.
