If you were installing WMI, where would you make the tie in?
djhorace:
Owen and I have WMI kits coming, but I am just trying to pick the best place for the tie in. Any suggestions, links, photos, pictures etc welcome :happy2:

i gotcha thinking there then DJ .. when speaking to BSH reference WMI they said fitting a nozzle at the bottom of the TB/IC pipe and another 1 6-7" below the throttle body. to allow full atomisation of the water into the air prior to reaching the MAP sensor.
they were planning on releasing a specially built pipie with bungs already esigned into them for the nozzles at the optimum positon and angle to get the best atomisation. have a search of the us golf forum. this was before xmas and here was vids of it in development phase, si id guess it must be nearly finished. the yanks are mad on W/M over there, and were pestering him like crazy for it

This kit has its own built in MAP sensor though. The only ties we will need are a tap to an injector signal, boost and power as wel as a position for the tank and the nozzle.
Getting a signal for boost will be a wee challenge as I did away with the factory PCV. I guess I will need a BOV spacer for that.
Do you have links/pictures for the WMI? I am not sure which forum you are speaking about to be honest.
Janner_Sy:
no idea about your tap in tbh, but the tap ins for the nozzles are as i said in post#2.
www.golfmkv.com there are alot of WMI threads. with builds and pics etc.
post #1190 is the new BSH pipe just released. looks the business http://golfmkv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87187&page=55
