If you were installing WMI, where would you make the tie in?
djhorace:
So this pipe is a pre prepared pipe to work with WMI then? Is there a fitting guide somewhere? I could not find one.
Janner_Sy:
yeah, as said before and if you read those threads, they seem to have put alot of R&D on their own car as a test mule to get the angles of spray pattern correct. something was said that if the angle or position is incorrect you could get droplets form and build up at the lowest point which is the IC.
cant imagine it being hard to fit. one for one swap with a few jubilees thrown in. all the WMI holes ome with bungs i think as well so you dont have to use both o them. send hima PM on there. very helpful guy, and dubtek on here should be able to get hold of them
Hurdy:
I'm sure there's a guy on VWVortex who ported straight into the intake manifold (filed vanes down) with 4 separate injectors. He had good results with it.
Janner_Sy:
i have pics of that somewhere, h=think his name is little red east or something like that.
Janner_Sy:
his name was little_red_fast. he'susually one of the irst guys to try all this new stuff. think he does all the work himself. he has aload of mini build threads on there whic is handy if you use his name for a refined search.
here is how he has wired his methanol in
hres his build thread
