Gotta be a couple of grand easy, maybe a shade more! Have you tried getting an offer off one of the second hand watch dealers?

I would think £1500 as a trade in and a little more privately. Tag Heuer aren't as strong as say Rolex or Omega second hand.

I would try the bay of flea as a good starting point and pistonheads classified.

I have the same Omega Plant Ocean, although Ive just got the black bezel fitted, as I fed up with the orange look(I strongly recommend doing this).  I looked at buying a Rolex Milgaus recently, so I know what the Planet Ocean is worth - approx £800 -£1000 as a trade in and £1500 or so via fleabay.

After swapping the bezel I have decided to keep it!  Definatley looks smarter than the TAG, so if it were me I'd sell the TAG.

I also have a TAG, but a 2000 Aquaracer ( I think thats the model), its as strong as an ox.

Yeh, I have another Tag which I wear more anyway so it may be the tag, how hard are the bezel swops ?

I dont know why anyone wants to wear that much money around their wrist...ETTO I suppose. GLWTS

Dont know if I would bother with the bay with something like this, fair few on there so would bring the price down a little. Would just get it valued if it was mine by a local dealer and maybe offer it at a little more for a private sale.

TAGs are notoriously hard to value for mainstream models, rule is normally 2/3 of retail if mint and sliding scale downwards depending on production numbers of each model and wether currently for sale new.

The only collectable TAGs are limited run special editions and even then only some of them are strong investments so you just have to buy wise.

You'll get more on trade in for the omega but only if you lose the current bezel  :happy2:

Thing with tag discounts are easy to get new so second hand the sink :stupid: Dont know why as they are good kit!!     I bought a kirum f1 crono £1500 before i new what i was doing and sold that for £750 killed me. I found with tag second hand they are half price not good news.  Try some of the watch forums you might get a better deal on there with a trade.
