deffo getting more than 18mpg,

reckon 25-28ish....

had it in D for the most part and have gave it a little shoe here and there naturally :)

its not as bad as people have made it out to be to be honest :)

You're not trying hard enough, I've almost had it down to single figures. Racking up the Shell Plus Points already!  :happy2:
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

Mile-muncher ordered: MkVI 1.6 TDi BlueMotion Match DSG with leather, winter pack, luxury pack, fogs, climate control, Dynaudio pack, RCD510 with DAB & MDI, flat tyre indicator

In 'D' I am hitting similar figures, but in manual mode I tend to rev higher in lower gears and enjoy the noise

Milltek or flapper mod would solve that.

Notice I said flapper mod as well which is essentially free. :P

Funny that Mr. Hedge is saying for you to get a Milltek, he say`s that to everyone with a Fridge. :rolleye:

There is logic to my madness. :booty:
If it made a nicer noise at lower revs then there would be no need to rev it up all the time.

Capristo if you're loaded, but milly gets my vote as it has a nice rumble rather than rasp  :happy2:

Shall we Ask Robin?  :innocent:

  Steve - need we?

Resonated Blueflame is what I'd go for, if I ever fit one that is.

Probably just going to drop in an ITG panel filter too.

Amen VC.  :notworthy:

My Milltek is spot on. A non-Res version would just be boomy, loud and get on my wick.  :fighting:

Have you checked Capristo prices?  :rolleye:

I've never personally heard one, but the growing consensus seems to be that Blueflame exhausts are less boomy when cruising compared to Milteks.

+1

Sounds even worse when there are only 4 cylinders puffing away at the other end too...  :P

There was a Capristo at SRR plus map and Gruppe M intake that made less than mine.
