LOVE that colour!

I saw it in the flesh a couple of weeks ago and it really is nice. It seems to have a pearlescent greyish paint that has a matte layer on top, and so in the sun it kind of changes colour. Very hard to describe, but suits it so well.

I'm thinking it will be a wet spray paint then an opaque vinyl layer on top. Could be wrong though

No I dont think its vinyl, a few years ago there was a BMW press release about them wanting to sell cars in these type of colours and said it would be available 2-3 years down the line and that was about 3 years ago.

No, its paint. It's a matte finish lacquer.

I've also recently seen some long term test results on the film used on the RS500...

It looks alright, but it doesn't make me go wow. The E92's that do are the black on black ones, they are just
