I dont think its faulty if they illuminate when your interior light is on etc.

It probably is just not coded correctly

Any version of the gateway from 1K0 907 530 L to 1K0 907 530 AF should stop any battery drain

I have a gateway 1K0 907 530 K and updated to firmware 2680 on my RNS510 around 2 months ago.Not had any battery drain issues so far. :happy2:

Only illuminated the very first time not since  :ashamed:
